Casual Culture Club was born out of a simple longing: the joy of sitting down and discussing exciting things with friends. Between work, kids, and daily responsibilities, finding the time and space for great conversations with great people has become tough. While the internet is full of places to chat, we miss the nostalgic feeling of actually being physically in a room with a big group of friends.
Think of Casual Culture Club as part book club, part movie club, and a great excuse to get together and escape daily reality for a bit. We are kicking off with books and movies, but we hope to expand into arts, crafts, food, and other fun activities down the line.
True to our name, we are keeping things strictly casual. This shouldn’t feel like another chore or commitment on top of your busy life. We are aiming for monthly meetups, but we’ll keep things flexible. If this sounds like your kind of thing, we’d love to have you.
